Position Overview
As a Materials Weighing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precise and safe operation of the Quarry Truck scale, alongside all associated systems. Your primary goal will be to implement accurate measurements of all bulk and raw materials in accordance with established quality standards and acceptable physical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Excellence:
    Manage the truck scale operations to optimize unit operating costs while ensuring the accurate and timely weighing of materials for effective output.
  2. System Accuracy:
    Maintain the integrity of the truck scale computer system and ensure meticulous record-keeping and database updates.
  3. Equipment Maintenance:
    Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of assigned equipment; coordinate repair requests and ensure smooth handover to incoming shifts to minimize operational downtime.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    Perform routine inspections of incoming raw materials to verify quality and quantity compliance.
  5. Reporting:
    Complete all necessary documentation in logbooks and checklists to accurately record activities and events, aiding in informed decision-making.
  6. Cross-Departmental Support:
    Provide expertise and assistance to other departments to reduce equipment downtime critical to plant operations.
  7. ISO Compliance:
    Adhere to all certification guidelines and procedures; actively participate in annual audits to maintain and renew certification.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in manufacturing plant operations.
  • Proficiency in visually identifying supplied raw materials.
