  • Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and optimize production.

  • Ensure equipment is in working order and working conditions are always safe.
  • Verify the readiness of the production line at start-up.
  • Manage overall maintenance work quality and completion to ensure all standards and specifications are met.

  • Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
  • Champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of poultry maintenance operations or transferable skill sets from food manufacturing processes in a similar industry.
  • Ability to work with computers, office programs, as well as payroll, attendance, and performance tracking software.
  • 2+ years of experience managing hourly associates at the frontline level, preferably in poultry processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable fields, such as pneumatics, plumbing, electricity, hydraulics, and general maintenance of industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of PLCs & electronics.
  • Must have verifiable experience with the Stork Nu-Tec Nuova eviscerating equipment, specifically the PNT and Rehanger.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot with an electrical meter and read electrical line diagrams.
  • As a plus, experience with Ishida scales, Food Mate Ultimate, and Pac-mac baggers.

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food-manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivation.
