Exempt Role
Reporting To: HSE Director
Key Responsibilities:
The HSE Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HSE Director to ensure that all personnel within Noble Casing, Inc., Noble Drilling, LLC., and Noble Trucking LLC. receive the necessary HSE training, tools, and leadership to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This position requires collaboration with management across all divisions to guarantee that employees are equipped with the training and resources needed to achieve positive HSE outcomes and fulfill their HSE responsibilities. The HSE Coordinator is tasked with implementing strategies to minimize potential risks across all locations and providing backup for Employee/On-Boarding Safety Training to ensure compliance and accuracy in training materials for both new and existing staff.
Primary Duties:
- Foster a positive HSE culture within the organization to mitigate risks and ensure a safe, compliant work environment for all employees.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions to reduce or eliminate injuries and environmental impacts.
- Assist in the creation and management of HSE procedures, programs, and documentation as needed.
- Maintain accurate HSE recordkeeping and data integrity across all Noble locations to support effective reporting and metrics for HSE initiatives.
• Oversee adherence to safety standards in line with OSHA and state regulations.
• Aid in the demonstration, testing, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and systems.
• Monitor employee compliance with safety equipment usage, including protective eyewear, helmets, and harnesses.
• Conduct regular inspections of emergency equipment and first-aid supplies.
• Perform safety audits and inspections at facilities and customer sites, documenting findings and collaborating with the HSE Director to address any issues.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports to identify causes and recommend preventive measures for the safety program.
• Engage in root cause analysis for incidents and complete associated reports.
• Execute trend analysis and audits of operational procedures, facility designs, and materials used.
- In emergencies, respond appropriately to hazardous material and waste situations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Assist the HSE Director in resolving and closing out corrective and preventive actions to enhance HSE compliance.
- Adhere to all quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Support the administration of driver evaluations and testing as needed.
• Travel to various Noble locations as required.
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to Safety Training Coordinators as necessary.
2. Collaborate with management in facility walkthroughs to identify potential hazards.
3. Offer personal coaching as needed.
- Engage in special projects or assignments as directed by management.
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- At least 3 years of direct HSE experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE functions within the oil and gas, manufacturing, or field service sectors.
- Basic understanding of state and federal regulatory requirements.
- At least 1 year of experience in conducting CDL driver training and evaluations.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in HSE audits.
• At least 1 year of experience in teaching HSE-related topics.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
• Willingness to travel periodically to support Noble operations and conduct audits as necessary.
Travel Requirements:
• Approximately 25% travel required to provide ongoing HSE support across various Noble locations.

Education:
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering, environmental science, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, or health sciences) is preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with HSE representatives and employees to foster a collaborative working environment. Proficiency in presenting information and responding to inquiries from diverse groups is essential. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Mathematical Skills:
Competence in mathematical concepts such as probability, statistics, and geometry is required.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to address practical problems and interpret various instructions in both written and oral forms.
Certificates and Licenses:
• Certification as a Safety Professional is preferred, with a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist being acceptable.
• CPR and First-Aid Certification.
• Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred).
Other Skills:
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet objectives.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks to support various locations in achieving their HSE goals.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and sitting frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. The ability to climb stairs is also necessary.
