Salary\
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $43,000 and $55,000, depending on location, experience, skills, and knowledge.\

Job Description\
This role provides essential support to healthcare providers and patients.\
The Medical Assistant plays a crucial part in patient care by measuring vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with minor medical procedures.\
They contribute to the efficiency of healthcare delivery and create a smoother and more patient-centric fertility journey.\
\
Responsibilities\
The Medical Assistant is responsible for the daily management of patients through administrative and clinical tasks.\
They coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide essential services.\
Key duties include:\
  • \
  • Preparing patients for examination, including vital sign measurements, updating health information, allergies, and current medication.\
  • Documenting patient vitals, assessment, encounter type, and provider into the electronic medical record.\
  • Communicating with healthcare providers about changes in patient condition, abnormal vitals, lab results, and patient response during testing or examination.\
  • Preparing minor procedure trays and assisting with procedures, such as hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, and Pap smears.\
  • Maintaining patient workflow to meet physician scheduling requirements.\
  • Ordering and scheduling lab tests as directed, reviewing results, and annotating appropriate disposition.\
  • Scanning signed consents, office appointment forms, laboratory reports, and pathology reports into the EMR.\
  • Performing urine pregnancy test, documenting results in the EMR, and communicating with healthcare providers.\
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment, including autoclaving instruments and documenting size and type of instrument on packages.\

Requirements\
To succeed in this role, you should have:\

  • A high school diploma and a Medical Assistant certification or equivalent.\
  • BCLS certification required; phlebotomy certification preferred.\
  • One year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse, with a minimum of 200 successful blood draws documented.\
