**Christopher's Reason Medical Facility**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Christopher's Reason, an OASAS 822 Outpatient facility specializing in addiction treatment.

This full-time position requires working Sunday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. As a member of our medical department, you will support doctors and patients through various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for clients, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to company policies and guidelines.
  • Submitting daily shift reports and briefing the team on any changes.
  • Assisting with medical administrative tasks, including managing medical calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.
  • Performing clinical tasks, such as taking patient vital signs.
  • Conducting basic laboratory tests, like Quest urine tests and blood draws.
  • Preparing and assisting healthcare providers during patient visits.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
  • Basic life support certification, including CPR and first aid.
  • Vital Signs proficiency, accurately measuring and recording patient data.
  • Substance Use Disorder experience is preferred.
  • Holding required certifications and completing continuing education requirements.
  • Proficiency in observing patients take medications following established protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced community environment.
  • Excellent punctuality and dependability skills.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
