**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at GPAC. As a key member of our commercial construction team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning and execution of projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist in the development and management of project plans, budgets, and schedules
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with building codes and regulations
* Assist with the coordination and procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
* Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts
* Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and RFIs
* Support the resolution of technical issues, conflicts, and changes during the construction process
* Assist with project cost tracking and analysis to ensure profitability
* Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
* 1+ years previous experience in commercial construction or project engineering is preferred
* Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials
* Proficiency in construction software and tools, including AutoCAD and project management software
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines
* Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
