At Techtronic Industries North America, we're committed to innovation and excellence in our products and services. As a Project Leader, you'll play a critical role in driving our electrical engineering teams to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Our Engineering Team is responsible for designing and developing the batteries, motors, and electronics that power our products. Every developmental phase of these critical components happens in-house under the watch of this team.

We're pushing the limits in firmware engineering, power electronics, embedded systems, machine learning, and the use of artificial intelligence. You'll be empowered to own it, drive it, and do what it takes to design and develop the biggest breakthroughs in the industry.

As a Project Leader, you'll lead international teams through global projects from concept to product launch while maintaining cost, schedule, and performance targets. You'll provide project management and necessary technical direction to assure successful and timely implementation of projects.

You'll oversee day-to-day activities of cross-functional project team members, schedule and develop agendas, facilitate and document project meetings, and review work of designers, engineers, and other project team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple moderate to highly complex design projects with minimal direction.
  • Providing direction, guidance, and engineering expertise to team members.
  • Making component material or process recommendations and/or negotiations options.
  • Tracking project schedule to ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Escalating critical issues to management team in a timely manner.
  • Communicating technical details, ideas, and concepts to engineers and non-engineers in multiple locations.
  • Driving design of product to meet market-driven design guides and fulfill cost, timing, reliability, and high-volume manufacturing requirements.
  • Identifying and mitigating manufacturing risks with suppliers.
  • Analyzing, evaluating, and selecting from design execution alternatives to best meet specification objectives and implement designs into mass production.
  • Challenging cost increases and assisting purchasing negotiations from a technical standpoint.
  • Accountable for technical elements of project execution, including integration of complicated components and assemblies, material selection, packaging, and safety, regulatory, and standards compliance.

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Leader who can drive our electrical engineering teams to success. If you have a strong background in project management, electrical engineering, and technical leadership, we encourage you to apply.

What We Offer:

  • Robust health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Generous 401(k) savings plan.
  • Education assistance.
  • On-site wellness, fitness center, food, and coffee service.

We're an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates. If you're passionate about innovation and excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
