Essential Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assemble patient trays with the appropriate food and supply items according to menu specifications.
  • Operate standard quantity food service equipment, including dish machines, food processors, and steam tables.
  • Inventory and prepare food items for display in the cafeteria service area.
  • Ensure adequate levels of supplies, food, snack, and beverage items for customer needs.
  • Deliver food and supply items to patients according to prescribed diets and patient desires within specified time frames.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate standard quantity food service equipment.
  • Knowledge of quantity food service preparation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well on service teams.
Additional Requirements:
  • Food Handler Certificate (California) required.
Work Environment:

This is a variable shift position, working every weekend, with varied locations, hours, days, and schedules.
