Job Description

Recruiting Heroes LLC is seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst III to support Headquarters, Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological Radiological Nuclear Defense. This role will provide program support to Government project leads for CONUS and OCONUS missions, to include travel when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team lead with planning, development, and execution of new requirements, projects, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Maintain awareness of program execution and milestones, as well as their strategic impacts.
  • Consider affordability, technology maturity, and responsiveness to assist in the formulation of broad, time-phased operational goals and initial capabilities.
  • Develop, design, and implement annual and long-range plans to realize the product development components of strategic goals.
  • Track task management activities using document and staffing systems matrixes.
  • Create technical and programmatic briefing materials, documentation, and schedules.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate document staffing/resourcing requests and taskers.
  • Assess technical, cost, and schedule data and work with Government staff to identify shortfalls and potential corrective actions.
  • Travel on official business as required.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office products and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications:

  • Possess experience in project/contract management, DoD acquisition, or a related subject of comparable complexity and responsibility.
  • Possess working knowledge of acquisition processes and policies as outlined in the DoDI and other related documents.
  • Possess the ability to influence and shape acquisition streamlining.
  • Possess the capability to lead projects or tasks involving risk tracking and status oversight.
  • Possess knowledge of DoD acquisition and life cycle management policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Possess the ability to write, review, and staff high-level staff action papers, studies, policies, and acquisition documents.
  • Possess the ability to independently manage, synchronize, and track multiple, complex, and cross-functional actions.
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively among various audiences.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the JPEO-CBRND organizational structure and roles and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and mastery of the JPEO-CBRND DSS and SASI systems.
  • Possess experience supporting a fast-paced work environment.
