MedNorth Health Center is seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Professional to join our team. As a key member of our dental staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health in our multi-cultural medical/dental clinic.

About the Role

The Dental Hygiene Professional will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Providing comprehensive dental prophylaxis treatments to patients of all ages;
  • Conducting periodontal charting and establishing maintenance plans;
  • Assisting patients with referrals to dental specialists or primary medical providers as needed;
  • Exposing and processing dental radiographs as ordered by our Chief Dental Officer;
  • Maintaining and updating our Radiation Safety Program annually;
  • Cleaning and disinfecting treatment rooms after each patient visit;
  • Restocking supplies and equipment as needed;
  • Developing and implementing oral health education programs for patients and community groups.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program;
  • Licensure by the North Carolina Board of Dentistry;
  • Knowledge of standards of practice and procedures in a dental clinic;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations;
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
