Job Title: Process Optimization Specialist

Estimated Annual Salary: $62,500

Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at our East Coast Operation in Columbia, SC. As a Process Optimization Specialist, you'll play a critical role in enhancing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and driving quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process Monitoring and Analysis: You'll be responsible for continuously monitoring our SCADA and MES systems to identify areas for improvement, ensuring seamless production operations.
  2. Process Optimization: Develop and implement process control plans, work instructions, and quality standards to drive efficiency and productivity gains.
  3. Problem-Solving and Improvement: Investigate and resolve operational issues, identifying innovative solutions to enhance our processes and reduce waste.
  4. Business Acumen and Innovation: Collaborate with production planning, project engineering, and plant management to ensure smooth production job setup and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong background in manufacturing, process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma philosophies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge of manufacturing software, automation, and quality processes.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, as well as write reports and business correspondence.
