Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Build strong client loyalty and drive sales through a hospitality mentality.
  • Merchandise Operations: Drive excellent merchandise operations, including merchandise sets, maintenance of testers, and cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Replenishment and Inventory Management: Ensure great replenishment on floor stock to drive sales and support inventory management and pricing needs within the department.
  • Visual Merchandising: Confirm that visual elements of the shop meet Kohl's + Sephora standards and communicate missed or damaged product/fixtures to Supervisor.
  • Omni Fulfillment: Support omni fulfillment within the department.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrate continuous curiosity with both clients and self to learn and expand knowledge of the beauty industry.
  • Training and Development: Actively engage and complete all required training to expand knowledge.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all tasks are completed to Kohl's + Sephora standards.
Essential Functions
  • Key Accountabilities: Ability to perform the key accountabilities listed above.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance as set by the company.
  • Dress Code and Appearance: Ability to comply with dress code requirements.
  • Company Policies and Procedures: Ability to learn and comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

  • Time Management and Productivity: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
  • Training and Development: Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs.
  • Basic Skills: Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
  • Technology and Equipment: Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
  • Physical Requirements: Perform work in accordance with the physical requirements section.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
  • Mobility and Dexterity: Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull on a frequent basis.
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift (at least 8 hours).
  • Visual Acuity: Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Ability to wear a face mask or covering and other personal protective equipment.
  • Environmental Factors: Ability to withstand exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Passion for Beauty: Authentic passion for beauty.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence in a clear and concise manner.
  • Curiosity and Desire to Learn: Naturally curious; desire to learn.
