Job Title: Healthcare IT System SpecialistSalary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare IT System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing application system support and collaborating with systems business/clinical management to identify, analyze, prioritize and resolve system needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate independently with IS management to identify and resolve system needs
  • Use cases, workflow, and metrics to configure, maintain, and monitor system use
  • Analyze and prioritize system needs to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop functional specifications and operational process flows for approved system enhancements or modifications
  • Provide technical resource to identify, analyze, prioritize and resolve system needs
  • Configure, maintain, and monitor system use to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and implement effective system testing and quality assurance processes

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Information Sciences or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years operational experience in clinical or healthcare, business or operation setting OR Minimum of Five (5) years of functional and/or systems analysis and reporting
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration Complete education and pass certification in assigned EPIC application module(s) within 120 days of completed education
