Join Our Team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Blue Balloon ABA in North Carolina. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing intensive one-on-one therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans to support children's growth and development
  • Conduct stimulus preference assessments to identify effective interventions
  • Collect data to track progress and inform treatment decisions
  • Develop and maintain client program books to ensure seamless communication
  • Provide basic care to clients, including toileting and eating assistance
  • Discuss daily progress with parents and caregivers to ensure collaborative support
  • Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized goals and checklists
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect for all clients
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education to enhance technical and professional knowledge
Requirements:
  • Valid and active RBT credential number on the BACB website
  • Previous experience working with children, with ASD experience strongly preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Reliability and ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week
  • Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation
  • Ability to stand and move for at least 75% of the day, with occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds
