Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the lead grower to optimize daily operations and promote crop yield and quality
  • Develop and improve cultivation techniques to enhance crop quality and reduce waste
  • Monitor and manage system health, crop health, and performance
  • Analyze farm data to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions
  • Design and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs to minimize environmental impact
  • Work closely with engineers, computer scientists, and the Ops team to drive innovation and efficiency
  • Participate in seeding and harvesting activities to ensure smooth farm operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field
  • Experience working in a commercial vertical farm or greenhouse under a head/lead grower
  • Strong knowledge of plant biology, cultivation techniques, and IPM
  • Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools, such as Tableau
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Self-starter with a passion for learning and innovation
