Production Engineer

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for driving process improvements in the Assembly area, focusing on efficiency gains and quality enhancements. Key responsibilities include project management, leading process improvements, and utilizing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to identify opportunities for growth. The role involves working with automated assembly equipment, including robotics and PLCs, to troubleshoot and optimize processes. Additionally, the engineer will utilize AutoCAD or Solidworks to design and modify equipment, tooling, and fixtures. The position requires creating and updating documents used by team members and the maintenance crew, as well as utilizing SQL databases to analyze data collected on processes. The engineer will also help implement a preventive maintenance schedule for use by Maintenance staff.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in a clean-room environment, requiring smocks and ESD shoes. The role will involve working with a variety of teams, including Quality, Production, Machine Build, and Design Engineering. The work environment will be a mix of on-floor and desk work, depending on project requirements.
