About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Development Leader to join our team. This key position will focus on business growth within the power and/or renewable markets, developing comprehensive solutions for clients and driving sales results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, client management, engineering, and/or renewable project development, with a proven track record of success in effective proposal development, strategic partnerships, innovation, project management, proposals, business development, and consulting engineering.

This role will require collaboration with various stakeholders, including finance, technical, field, and market development team members. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting opportunities with new and existing clients within the power and renewable markets, as well as partnering internally on key, complex projects and providing project oversight as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or Finance degree preferred
  • MBA Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, client management, engineering, and/or renewable project development required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy development for a large, utility-scale developer or IPP highly preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish highly preferred
  • Experience in renewable development with studies, interconnection, and environmental highly preferred

You must also possess strong business acumen, strategic partnerships, innovation, project management, proposals, business development, and consulting engineering skills, as well as excellent facilitation, presentation, verbal/written communications, time-management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Estimated Salary Range

The target base compensation range for this role is $148,800 - $201,300, taking into account factors such as job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
