About This Opportunity

The Library of Congress is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join its Space Utilization Planning and Design (SUPD) team. As an Interior Designer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of functional and beautiful interior spaces that support the library's mission.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create detailed space plans and elevations for interior design projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Provide expert advice on interior design best practices, materials, and finishes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful interior design projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.

Compensation Package

The Library of Congress offers a competitive salary range of $68,405 - $88,926 per year, comprehensive health insurance, and access to professional development opportunities.
