As a Kitchen Manager at AMC Theatres, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the operations of the kitchen to achieve our goals. This includes providing leadership and development to all back-of-house associates in a professional and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Lead and develop back-of-house staff to perform their duties to the highest standard.
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available when needed.
- Develop and implement menus, specials, and promotions to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and management, to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
- 6 months of food handling experience.
- Minimum of six months supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.
- Ability to obtain any required food or alcohol service licenses or certifications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet.
