Job Description: As a Diagnostic Engineer, you will design and provide diagnostic strategies & special tools for our technicians. You will also perform test analysis through analyzing and reviewing design specifications and creating test cases. Additionally, you will verify and validate Aftermarket diagnostic tool software and other parts of Volvo diagnostics solutions by following all necessary steps in the SW testing process including test preparation, test execution, and test reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Computer Engineering, and 2-5 years of experience with heavy duty vehicle diagnostics, repair and maintenance, heavy duty product development or as verification/test engineer. Basic knowledge of equipment for electronics system/component testing (CANoe, CANalyzer, others, etc.) is also required. Knowledge in agile SW development techniques, software verification and validation, test case, use cases, and system releases are highly valued. Software test certification is merit, and experience working in a global environment is essential.
