Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- Managing plant electrical systems, including regular inspections and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.
- Leading and fostering a safety culture with team members, driving maintenance and reliability of the process control network.
- Developing and communicating changes and improvements made to equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance on both electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Estimating labor and equipment costs, maintaining appropriate maintenance inventory and repair logs.
- Maintaining and working on various electrical equipment (12V to 480V).
- Interpreting electric code application.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma/GED.
- Previous electrical experience with voltages ranging from 24v to 480v 3 phase.
- Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including climbing, working in elevated areas, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- A valid US driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge and experience with control systems, electrical panels, and blueprints.
- Ability to work rotating days, shiftwork, and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- An electrical journeyman license.
- Three years of related PLC Automation experience.
- Previous HMI graphical interface programming experience.
- Previous experience programming ladder logic.
