About the Role

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our York Nebraska production location. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical and mechanical systems.


Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for:


  • Managing plant electrical systems, including regular inspections and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.
  • Leading and fostering a safety culture with team members, driving maintenance and reliability of the process control network.
  • Developing and communicating changes and improvements made to equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on both electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Estimating labor and equipment costs, maintaining appropriate maintenance inventory and repair logs.
  • Maintaining and working on various electrical equipment (12V to 480V).
  • Interpreting electric code application.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A High School Diploma/GED.
  • Previous electrical experience with voltages ranging from 24v to 480v 3 phase.
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including climbing, working in elevated areas, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • A valid US driver's license.
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and experience with control systems, electrical panels, and blueprints.
  • Ability to work rotating days, shiftwork, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:


  • An electrical journeyman license.
  • Three years of related PLC Automation experience.
  • Previous HMI graphical interface programming experience.
  • Previous experience programming ladder logic.
