Job Responsibilities:
- Conducts cleaning tasks in designated areas according to established schedules and methods.
- Assists with emergency spill clean-ups as needed.
- Performs daily inspections of assigned equipment for cleanliness and functionality.
- Reports any necessary repairs for equipment, furnishings, and facilities.
- Handles waste and soiled linens appropriately, ensuring proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
- Monitors supply levels and informs supervisors when additional supplies are required.
- Conducts personal inspections of all completed tasks and assigned areas.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and safety standards, completing required educational assignments annually and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: No specific educational requirements; any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience that demonstrates the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform essential job functions is acceptable. Preference may be given to candidates with a high school diploma or GED.
Experience: No prior experience required.
Licensure: None required.
