About the Role

  • Supporting producers and marketing in drafting new and renewal accounts as necessary.
  • Ensuring all policies are confirmed with insurance providers in writing before or on the effective date.
  • Managing billing or binder billing for all policies and renewals prior to or on the effective date.
  • Reviewing new business and renewal policies against applications and binders for accuracy.
  • Maintaining up-to-date client and policy information in accordance with office procedures.
  • Contacting clients as needed to collect outstanding balances following office protocols.
  • Collaborating with customer service representatives to ensure all endorsements, audits, cancellations, claims, finance agreements, certificates, and other customer requests are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Keeping the Property & Casualty license active and enhancing insurance knowledge through continuing education.

Skills and Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will possess an active Property & Casualty license and a minimum of five years of experience in the commercial insurance sector, along with the following:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Insurance Agency Management software, particularly Applied software Epic.
  • Industry designations such as CIS, ACSR, or CISR are advantageous.
