Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counselor Lead, Addictions to join our team at Denver Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and consultation to addiction counselors, developing team member schedules, and ensuring adequate staff coverage while minimizing overtime expenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to addiction counselors on clinical team as appropriate.
  • Develop team member schedules and ensure or provide adequate staff coverage while minimizing overtime expenses.
  • Assign and distribute work for the clinical team to provide optimal client care.
  • Review documentation in client records as needed to assure regulatory compliance and to provide clinical supervision.
  • Train new and current employees on processes.
  • Complete performance appraisals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 1-3 years Three years clinical experience Required.
  • CACIII-Certified Addiction Counselor III - NAADAC - The Association for Addiction Professionals Required.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required.
