Job Overview

Wellspring, a champion of mental health recovery in Louisville since 1982, is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor to join our team. As a pillar of hope for the most vulnerable individuals in our community, we support adults in building healthy and hopeful lives through behavioral health, housing, and employment services.

We believe recovery is possible for all people with psychiatric disabilities, and our recovery-oriented programming incorporates person-centered care and utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach. Our high-quality housing ensures opportunities for community integration that enhances our neighborhoods.

To succeed in this role, you will provide safety, support, and wellbeing to clients as stated in Person Centered Philosophy and Recovery Oriented Services guidelines. You will also maintain the integrity and security of the facility and property consistent with Environment of Care Standards (ECS).

In addition to these responsibilities, you will provide supportive counseling and crisis intervention consistent with program objectives, goals, and philosophy. You will advise and consult with on-call staff when appropriate and maintain knowledge of clients' status including appointments, activities, destinations, employment schedule.
