About the Role:
Our Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team is at the forefront of designing advanced radar systems. We seek talented individuals who share our enthusiasm for RADAR and Electronic Warfare Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves serving as a seasoned Radar System Integration and Test engineer, leading Integration and Test activities, checkout processes, and formal acceptance testing for various Ground Based and Multi-Mission Air Defense Radar programs. The engineer will:
- Develop and document Integration and Test plans and procedures.
- Integrate system hardware and software components.
- Evaluate test results and investigate discrepancies.
- Provide technical assessments of anomalies and drive issues to resolution.
- Perform requirements verification and validation, along with system sell-off.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess extensive subject matter expertise in radar systems integration and testing throughout all phases of the system lifecycle. Additionally, a strong foundation in related disciplines such as hardware and/or software development is essential.
During formal acceptance testing, the engineer will:
- Provide hands-on engineering support for the system.
- Troubleshoot issues and analyze live target data.

You have a keen eye for numbers, patterns, and logic. Your proficiency in algebra, vector math, linear algebra, calculus, and statistics allows you to tackle complex challenges effectively. You excel in collaborative and agile environments.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
- Experience in Requirements Trace Verification Matrix development.
- Leadership experience in relevant projects.
- Proficiency in Integration and Test Plan and Procedure development.
- Expertise in system troubleshooting and data analysis.
- Familiarity with MATLAB and requirements verification.
- Experience conducting test events and interfacing with customers (internal & external).
Desired Skills:
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in radar system design.
- Proficiency in C++ and Linux and/or digital hardware.
- Knowledge of test automation and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and DevSecOps.
Security Clearance:
This position requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens to be considered.
Work Environment:
This position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. We support various work schedules that offer flexibility to our employees.
