The Surgical Technician plays a vital role in the Surgery Unit at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. This position is essential in ensuring that surgical procedures are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical operations.
- Assist surgeons and other medical personnel by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Ensure that all surgical equipment is functioning properly and is ready for use.
- Participate in the preparation of patients for surgery, including positioning and draping.
- Assist in post-operative care by ensuring the surgical area is cleaned and organized.
