About the Role:
As a Radiologic Technologist at Providence, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging team. Under the direction of the Imaging Director or lead and medical direction of the radiologists, you will perform all phases of radiologic procedures, including Emergency Room trauma, fluoroscopy, portable, and surgical applications of ionizing radiation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic training program
- Washington X-Ray Technician Registration or Temporary Practice Permit
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months of X-ray tech experience or completion of PSMMC Imaging Clinical Rotation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree - Medical Imaging or Radiologic Science
- Bachelor's Degree - Medical Imaging or Radiologic Science
