School Psychologist Position

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide support to students in a school setting. This role is perfect for a compassionate professional looking for flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' social, behavioral, and academic development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and interpret individual tests (intelligence, achievement, emotional, functional behavior).
  • Determine students' eligibility for special programs through multi-factored assessments.
  • Write detailed reports summarizing assessments and provide service recommendations.
  • Consult with teachers and staff to plan and implement social, behavioral, and academic interventions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling for students.
  • Coordinate with families, community agencies, and related services to support students' needs.
  • Interpret psychological tests from outside providers and other districts.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology or Educational Psychology.
  • WA State certification as Educational Staff Associate (ESA) in School Psychology.
  • Strong background in testing, problem-solving, and social skills development.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
