Key Responsibilities:- Design various components of engineering projects.
- Conduct calculations utilizing engineering principles and methodologies.
- Reference catalogs to select items when original designs are not mandated.
- Guide drafters in transforming designs into finalized drawings.
- Engage in research and formulate professional opinions.
- Employ computer software to execute standard engineering tasks.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company policies.
- Independently design project components with minimal supervision.
- Manage task budgets under the guidance of a Project Manager.
- Comprehension of the physical landscape, including landforms and topography, and their interaction with constructed environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient technical skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- A degree in engineering is required.
- 0–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Alternatively, a master's degree with no prior experience may be considered.
- Successful completion of the EIT Exam is necessary.
- Must be a US Person, eligible to work in aerospace and defense sectors with export restrictions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Ability to sit, walk, hike, and stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to set up equipment, handle samples, and operate tools.
- Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions and terrains.
- Commitment to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.
