Logistics Management Specialist

This is a National Guard position for a Logistics Management Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating logistics and property accountability policies for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for logistics and property book operations.
- Plan, develop, and maintain actions/procedures for the transfer of accountable property for deployment.
- Responsible for property book operations, including inventory management, storage management, equipment coordination, and supply management.
- Maintain property book accountability using an automated system and related computer programs.
- Ensure compliance with the command supply discipline program and other directed command inspection programs.
Requirements
- Must possess experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field.
- Must have experience using computer and automation systems.
- Must possess 24 months of specialized experience in logistics systems, principles, concepts, and methodologies.
Working Conditions
This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.
Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement.
