Inventory Management Specialist

As an Inventory Specialist at Walgreens, you will be responsible for executing and maintaining front-end and pharmacy inventory management processes. This includes receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of planograms and validating inventory counts. Additionally, you will support pharmacy inventory activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. You will work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and maintain front-end and pharmacy inventory management processes, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
- Ensure the accuracy of planograms and validate inventory counts.
- Support pharmacy inventory activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
- Maintain compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
- Work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate inventory counts.
Requirements:
- One year of prior retail work experience with knowledge.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage execution.
- Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate.
- Previous work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file.
