- Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with partners to deliver a seamless and optimised Ubuntu experience on their platforms.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership on complex customer engagements involving complete system architectures from cloud to edge.
- Application Optimisation: Help customers integrate their applications, SDKs, and build device OS images, optimise applications with Ubuntu Core, Desktop, and Server.
- Staying Up-to-Date with Emerging Technologies: Stay current with the latest operating systems and application technologies available in the enterprise world.
- Strong Linux Skills: Proficiency in Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, Yocto) and experience working with open source communities and licenses.
- Programming Skills: Experience with C and C++ programming languages.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a globally distributed team.
- Additional Skills: Experience with graphics stacks, networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP/REST), security best practices, and Docker/OCI containers/K8s.
