Job Overview:
The Embedded Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role within our client's IoT team, responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing electrical power solutions for innovative hardware and IoT products in the medical device industry. This position requires a hands-on approach to the entire product lifecycle, from prototyping and board design to firmware development and product validation. The engineer will have the opportunity to influence product direction and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop IoT solutions for medical devices, including prototyping, PCB design, and validation.
Research and select integrated circuits (ICs) and other electronic components for projects.
Write application firmware drivers and create software libraries for IoT devices.
Collaborate with design partners to design and validate printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Work closely with manufacturers and customers throughout the production process to ensure product quality.
Troubleshoot and debug hardware and embedded systems using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Manage project timelines, communicate requirements, and coordinate design considerations with clients and team members.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related STEM field. Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (preferred).
Experience: 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in embedded systems and IoT. Experience with PCB and circuit design, including working with EDA software like KiCad, Eagle, or Altium. Experience with embedded platforms (e.g., ARM-based platforms like STM32, nRF52, or Arduino).
Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ programming and embedded communication interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, RS-232/RS-422). Strong background in electrical debugging, hardware validation, and firmware development. Familiarity with Git/GitHub or a similar version control system. Ability to use various electrical testing tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical design and embedded system principles. Knowledge of IoT solutions and experience in developing connected devices.
