Core Linux Systems Engineer

A highly skilled Linux Engineer is required to join our team at Saxon Global. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux scripting, automation, and troubleshooting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-call support, debugging and optimizing code, and automating routine tasks. They will also work with a distributed team to design and develop software platforms and frameworks, and ensure the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-call support and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack, including hardware, software, application, and network
- Partner with engineering and operation teams to produce and roll out fixes
- Drive standardization efforts across multiple disciplines and services
- Scope and create automation for deployment, management, and visibility of our services
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in Linux engineering
- Strong understanding of Linux scripting, automation, and troubleshooting
- Experience with monitoring tools and Ansible
