Human Performance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Performance Specialist to join our team at Parkview Health. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading sport-specific training sessions for youth populations and developing and implementing conditioning programs to enhance athletic performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sport-specific training programs for youth athletes
  • Lead training sessions and provide coaching to athletes
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with coaches and other staff members to develop and implement conditioning programs
  • Provide education and guidance to athletes on proper training techniques and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field
  • Certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association or other national governing body
  • At least one year of experience working in a human performance or strength and conditioning environment
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Maturity, dependability, and ability to build strong relationships with coaches, parents, and other staff members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading training sessions for youth populations
  • Strong background in sport-specific resistance training and conditioning
