Healthcare Representative

As a representative of SolutionHealth, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional clerical support and ensuring a seamless experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting and registering patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records. You will also be responsible for collecting fees, performing general clerical duties, and assisting with administrative tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a positive experience from initial contact to departure.
- Verify patient information, including address and insurance status, to ensure accurate billing and scheduling.
- Schedule appointments with specialists, hospital testing, and lab work, ensuring timely and efficient care.
- Complete prior authorization for testing as required by insurance protocols.
- Collect payments and schedule follow-up appointments or specialty appointments as necessary.
- Maintain provider schedules, optimizing effective scheduling of appointments and confirming daily schedules.
- Assist in developing and implementing systems to support effective and accurate registration of patients, making recommendations to increase efficiency of patient care or administrative functioning.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting performing similar functions preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office.
