About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical advice to patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
  • Conduct thorough medication reviews and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local medical communities, including physicians and nurses.
  • Participate in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities.
  • Assist in the training and development of pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
