Job Type Part-timeDescriptionPromptCare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by our patients and will be responsible for the operations and safety of the pharmacy, including compounding, dispensing, scheduling, purchasing, distribution, quality improvement and regulatory compliance. To learn more about our company, visit us at PromptCare In-home Respiratory and Infusion Reports to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or ManagerJob Type: Part/Time, 20-24 hours per week, Monday-FridayLocation: Stoughton, MARequirements B.S. or Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required or Registered pharmacist license if foreign graduateActive registered pharmacy license in the state of Massachusetts and additional states as required without restrictions1 year of hospital and home infusion therapy experience preferredTwo years recent clinical pharmacy experience preferredThorough knowledge of infusion therapies preferredRecent inventory management experience preferredAccuracy in mathematical calculations including pharmacokinetic dosing preferredKnowledge of Caretend and CPR+ software preferredJob Responsibilities, included but not limited to:Closely collaborate with the nursing organization to coordinate optimal care for the patients and service for the patient referral sources (e.g., hospitals, physician groups, etc...)Able to assume temporary leadership of the pharmacy with minimal supervision, as designated by the Pharmacist in ChargeChecking and dispensing of medications in compliance with state and federal lawsMaintain strong knowledge of PromptCare's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure that they are applied consistentlyDemonstrate thorough understanding of pharmacy rules and government regulations and dispense accordinglyAnswer a variety of questions as presented by PromptCare's, technicians, nurses, and salespeopleOther duties assignedPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending and twisting all day. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items over 30 pounds. Coordinated fine and gross motor movements and hand/ eye movement. Maintain balance from any position. Attend to cognitive and psychomotor tasks for up to 7-12 hours.
