Position Overview: Our men's substance use residential program is seeking a dedicated residential treatment worker. Treatment workers are essential in ensuring a safe and structured environment for clients. The staff at Wilson House collaborate as a supportive team, fostering recovery and respect for our residents in a homely setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assist clients with daily living activities and household maintenance.
- Conduct safety checks and manage medication schedules.
- Support admissions and facilitate participation in group activities and meetings.
- Provide social-emotional support to clients as necessary.
As a treatment worker, you will be a valued member of our team, ideal for individuals eager to partner with clients in their journey of change, promote recovery, and grow within the human services sector through various learning opportunities. We strongly encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds and with lived experiences to apply. Bilingual skills are compensated.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Associate's degree in human services or a related field, or currently pursuing this degree with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Required: High School Diploma/GED with experience in mental health, substance use disorder treatment, or human services.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification is necessary; these can be obtained during employment.
