Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Marion County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services team, you will play a critical role in providing assessment and treatment services, crisis intervention, and community stabilization for individuals with complex needs and diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized service plans and brief therapy to clients
  • Work closely with community partners, including Salem Hospital and Marion County Jail, to address urgent/crisis situations
  • Manage a caseload of individuals with few to no financial support resources who are struggling to connect in the community
  • Develop and implement specific services in the community to support clients
  • Provide community outreach and education as needed
  • Complete clinical record documentation in a timely fashion
  • Meet performance expectations for time and billing standards
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
  • One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed/registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
  • Salem Hospital Privileges
