Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation of contract documents, including detailed plans and specifications.
  • Conduct hydraulic flow and pressure calculations for pipelines.
  • Execute pump calculations and develop system curves for effective pump sizing.
  • Provide engineering and design support for water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Prepare cost estimates for construction and design projects.
  • Develop specifications tailored to specific projects.
  • Perform engineering tasks in the planning and design of water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems.
  • Engage in project management, client relations, and business development for upcoming projects.
  • Conduct site visits during design and construction phases to inspect facilities.
  • Review construction shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with project design documents.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution or NCEES equivalent.
  • Experience or coursework in water and wastewater systems is advantageous.
  • Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT) or the ability to complete it within the first six months.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other design disciplines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and ArcGIS is a plus.
  • Active participation in professional organizations such as AWWA, WEF, ASCE and involvement in committees is beneficial.
Compensation Range:
$50, $66,828.00
