Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension in Detroit, MI. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient condition and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
