Nurse Practitioner

UHS is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our team at our Woods Cross, UT location. As a Registered Nurse (PRN), you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of mental health professionals, clinicians, psychiatrists, and behavioral health specialists who are committed to improving the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities:- Complete assessments and develop individualized care plans for assigned patients.
- Administer medications as assigned and serve as a resource for knowledge of medication uses.
- Respond to and assess resident medical needs, and provide health care teaching to residents.
- Be proactive in identifying potential crisis situations and respond appropriately.
- Function as a leader on the unit to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Utah or authorization to practice in Utah.
- Prefer one year of experience, but new graduates are considered.
- Strong work ethic, responsible attendance, and punctuality.
- Capable of passing a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen.
