Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

MCW: SARGEANT HEALTH CENTER is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its Pediatric Anesthesiology Division. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to a complex pediatric patient population.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer general and local anesthesia to patients undergoing various medical procedures.
  • Maintain anesthesia delivery systems and monitors, ensuring they are functioning properly.
  • Prepare patients for anesthesia, conducting thorough physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
  • Monitor patients under anesthesia, making recommendations for anesthetic care plans as needed.
  • Perform post-procedure tests to ensure patients are recovering well.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists to determine the next steps in patient care.
  • Employ CPR or other emergency procedures as indicated.
  • Perform administrative duties, including collecting medical records and conducting patient chart reviews.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist Program.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification.
