Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at ERG Inc. in Indian Head, MD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support to our clients in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. This includes planning, implementing, and monitoring preventative maintenance programs, providing engineering support for operational issues, and identifying and resolving compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance programs to ensure compliance with federal and local requirements and industry codes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Provide engineering support for operational issues with electrical systems and equipment.
  • Identify and resolve compliance issues.
  • Perform electrical design reviews for facility improvement projects.
  • Assess compliance of design packages with applicable Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), electrical codes, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least eight years of experience with an electrical engineering degree or at least ten years of relevant experience and a degree in another engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with energetics-related safety systems is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
