The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data organization, you will provide expert guidance and support to software engineers and leaders, shaping the future of our data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and organize large data sets, ensuring scalability and efficiency within our data architecture.
  • Translate high-level goals into detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timely delivery.
  • Implement Databricks and lakehouse architectures, ensuring seamless integration and scalability across the organization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and adapt existing solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for the data team, focusing on ETL processes, data quality, and security.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on managing large-scale data environments in cloud settings.
  • Strong command of SQL, data visualization techniques, and experience with Jupyter notebooks for data analysis.
  • Ability to design and implement cutting-edge solutions that align with business goals.
  • Extensive experience in designing, building, and managing modern data pipelines that integrate diverse data sources into a consolidated and scalable database architecture.
