Job Title: Senior Network Core Routing and Switching Specialist

Location: Remote


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage network LAN/WAN incidents and ensure SLAs are met
  • Raise and implement various network-related changes following the client process
  • Have the required knowledge to troubleshoot business-impact network outage issues and implement emergency changes if required
  • Follow standardized network routers and switches configuration following engineering standard documents
  • Participate in tech refresh, end-of-life products replacement projects, etc.


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of traditional network technologies, routers, and switches
  • Cisco routers and switches expertise
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure
  • Cisco ACI knowledge
  • Distributed architecture understanding
  • Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Managed a multisite MPLS network
  • Understanding of tenants, VRFs, and BD
  • Understanding of security technologies (firewalls, IPS, IDS, content filtering)
  • CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred


Nice to Have:

  • SD-WAN experience
  • DNS administration knowledge
