Key Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Accurately processing orders and entering them into the POS system.
  • Handling customer payments and providing change as necessary.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
  • Completing required checklists for opening, ongoing, and closing tasks.
  • Performing general cleaning duties to meet health standards.
  • Undertaking additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a food service environment.
  • A high school diploma is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Basic math skills for cash register operations and transactions.
  • A valid food handler's permit as required by law.
  • Brand certification as necessary.
  • The ability to remember and promote menu items effectively.
  • Competence in operating a keyboard and POS systems.
