Essential Duties:
- Uphold school policies and procedures.
- Ensure order and discipline among passengers; address conflicts and document serious disciplinary issues.
- Monitor students with specific health needs during transportation, following established protocols.
- Enforce safety regulations on school grounds and during bus rides.
- Stay informed about all emergency procedures.
- Maintain open communication with all staff members.
- Implement site-specific bus rules and regulations.
- Supervise students during their commute to and from school.
- Report any unsafe conditions related to the bus to the administration immediately.
- Keep the bus clean and free of debris.
- Represent the school positively and professionally.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the administration.
Essential Skills and Competencies: While we welcome diverse backgrounds, the ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven record of punctuality.
- Experience working with students from varied backgrounds.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Demonstrated competence in assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel and students in a diverse educational setting.
